CHINA AIRLINES to expand fleet with 10 BOEING 777
2013-01-06 Author: Source:CANNEWS Traffic:0CANNEWS - China Airlines is all set to lease and buy 10 Boeing 777 aircraft. As per the plan, China Airlines will lease 4 new B777 -300ER passenger aircraft from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), and will buy six B777-300ERs from Boeing. The deliveries of these aircrafts are scheduled to start in 2014.
Huang-Hsiang Sun, President of China Airlines, said, The introduction of the 777-300ER into our fleet is another important step toward growing our global operations and enhancing our product offering.
According to China Airlines, the new aircrafts will have new interiors to boost the flying experience for passengers. The new twin-aisle aircraft will be used on long-haul routes from Taipei s Taoyuan airport to Europe and North America.
